Dear Reader, 

Beyond Photography started as a one night only exhibition in Leeds as a way to engage a digital arts community through free and accessible art for the public. Through this self titled exhibition, we found there to be a lack of art spaces for digital image makers utilising innovative techniques and aesthetics. Beyond Photography thus became an on going project interviewing over 80 artists across the globe, curating exhibitions, and producing publications. 

We now feel this is the appropriate time for this project to come to a close. Digital art, video, and experimental image making has truly entered the mainstream, and we now wish to put our efforts into the next stage of our creative endeavours. Our commitment to Beyond Photography is to keep the platform as a free and accessible archive for students, artists and art lovers alike. Through this website, there are endless resources, and ideas explored through its active years. 

In the near future, we hope to introduce our next project with you, but in the meantime we would like to thank those who have contributed, and engaged with our community over the past years.
